    HELP!!!

I'm new to this, so please bear with me.

I've found a virus called Win32:revop (trj). I've also had a trojan-gen virus which I've been able to remove following directions that I have found on your site. The problem is, I can't find out how to remove the win32:revop virus.

It was found using Avast anti-virus. Can you help?

Since you run avast, just move to your chest and delete form there. Or, to remove manually, end this process from task manager "trojan.win32.revop.exe". Most likely it is not running if avast found it. Then do a search with find and delete same named file.

Hi....when the avast shows the message that he has found a virus, you have 4 options...don't use any of them!
look for an option down this 4...
schedule a boot-time scan....it's the only way to delete this worm....

    bye

Just realized this was an older thread and has since been resolved in the adware/spyware/hijack cleaning forum. So I will lock this thread now - snap
