Win32/Rbot Trojan

    how do i remove Win32 Rbot Trojan from my computer.

    i get the following error

    c:\activescan.exe is corrupted with virus.

    also, svhost is causing a trouble. is there a way NOD32 can clean the trojan?

    Please check your settings against those HERE

    After this run a scan by following these steps:

    1. Click on the NOD32 Control Centre (Green and White split square on the bottom right hand corner of your computers screen).
    2. Click on NOD32.
    3. Click on Run NOD32.
    4. Click on “Scan and Clean”.

    i have already done the settings and still it does not removes it. do you expect nod32 to just remove it?

    Yes, given that those settings are designed not to prompt and to simply deal with the issue, this is exactly what I expect.

    Please download and run HijackThis from HERE

    Please download and run Autoruns from HERE

    Please download and run Lookinmypc from HERE

    Then forward the logs from all three programs to support @ eset.com with a link to this thread.
