I was just wondering, it's a shame that Ilya cannot solve this issue, how did Sandboxie solve this issue, how did each, every and all other anti-malware and sandbox applications solve this issue, and yet Ilya can't?

What's the main difference between Sandboxie and others and DefenseWall since others have managed to solve this issue and yet DefenseWall couldn't?

I wonder if Iliya has found at least part of solution...

    Cheers.

Why not ask him directly by contacting him on the product website?

Personally, I'm quite scared to do that, because I respect the privacy of all posters, hopefully he will see this thread.

This has been discussed a lot:

    1. A big part of it is money needed to do it.

    2. A big part is bypassing PatchGuard.

    3. Even if he could do it, he doesn't want a 64-bit version if the protection offered is worse than the 32-bit version (no placebo product).

Afaik, he is developing security software for ATMs, which will bring in money necessary to develop the 64-bit DefenseWall.

Question for more advanced users, does DefenseWall have similar options/restrictions like Sandboxie to block internet access for any, every and all applications and also to block start/run of any, every and all applications?

Well, the good thing to hear is that it's on the way (after Iliya solves problems with money and Patchguard), so we have to be patient.

That's the question, isn't it? We don't know how other vendors have implemented 64 bit support and we don't know how to evaluate it either.

He has told me on 2 different occasions that a 64 bit version might be in the works . However ; this has been over a year ago . I hope I am wrong but , I do not think we will ever see it . He is very busy with many things . It is on his to do list but , I expect is is at the bottom of the list the way he explained it to me .

No one can really tell. Only the developer (Ilya) knows best. I'm sure he will tell when it's ready.

Hahahaha come on you didn't know what was an ATM. :D :D
    Just kidding, i also didn't know a few years ago . . . until i Googled it.

Back on topic, people have been requesting a 64 bit version for a long time already, seems like there is no light at the end of the tunnel. :D

    Why don't they hire hackers?
I'm sure hackers would be able to bypass Patchguard, I'm not any expert on anything, but for now I do know that no system is 100% bulletproof.

The probelm is Microsoft would Iliya and than everything else falls apart, very, very bad idea.

In a case you didn't see above:
"Question for more advanced users, does DefenseWall have similar options/restrictions like Sandboxie to block internet access for any, every and all applications and also to block start/run of any, every and all applications?"
