I have the best anti-malware program as I beta test and supply over 10, 000 undetected infections per year to CounterSpy, and The Cleaner Professional too. I also test for F-Secure’s Client Security prog too.

I use NOD32 and CounterSpy online as they have one of the best, if not the best apart from Kaspersky’s, threat databases, and tread light on system resources, unlike Kaspersky.

I use ZoneAlarm Professional and have a double firewall built into the latest Netgear router.

So my question is this, can there be a stand alone NOD32 AV prog from Eset?

I don't need the anti-malware or firewall but then I don't want to pay for stuff I will not use either.

Moreover, if I'm forced to use the NOD32 Security Suite, will the inclusion of the anti-malware or firewall insist on the removal of my other firewall or anti-malware protection programs just so that I can have the power of the best AV prog: NOD32.

If it goes this way then I will have to look elsewhere. But I hope it doesn’t.

Then just stick with their antivirus product, instead of going with ESS.

I was enquiring as to whether the standalone NOD32 AV was to be eliminated and included as part of a suite.

    I'II give V3 a look.

    Thanks

As confirmed many months ago, both the suit and the AV will be available.
I suggest you try both of them ;)

As long as I have the separate:

    NOD32 AV
    CounterSpy
Netgear's latest router (double firewall) - no software firewall necessary.
    ProSecurity (HIPS)

Military pre-authentication and volume encryption 1733-bit 3DES and so forth I should be ok.

I will try ESET suite when it comes out of beta and see though.

Also with in the military encrypted volumes My Documents and other confidential data related to company contracts etc is also encrypted with the AES algorithm So if I have to do anything risky I just do not login with the encryption program once in Windows and My Documents etc is uncrackable.
