Will Eset SS protect a 2nd partition on the same puter?

I have 2 licenses for Eset SS on 2 puters.
My wife's puter is getting kind of old.
What I would like to do is create another partition on my
puter that I will have up and running when hers goes south.
It will only reside there until this happens.
Will my copy of Eset SS protect the temporary partition during the
install of Windows XP Pro?
What are my options?

 

Hello,

Are you just creating a partition? If so your current copy of ESET will be scanning it.

If you're installing another OS on the new partition, a dual boot, you will need to install ESET on that partition also, as you would any other programs needed.
