I purchased 2 download copies of TI 10 for my PC and laptop. The laptop does not have a CD burner. I have not yet installed TI 10 on the laptop yet.

Does the Rescue CD have to be created on the specific computer it is to be used for, or can I burn it on the PC and use it on the laptop and still have the rescue CD function correctly?

In short the question is, does the rescue CD have to match the unique serial numbered TI 10 installation?

I can't find anything about this in the user manual.

One CD will work for multiple computers. Since you have purchased a copy for each computer there isn't a license problem.

    Hello Acronis102007,

Thank you for choosing Acronis Disk Backup Software.

Please notice that MudCrab is correct. Acronis True Image Bootable Rescue CD is Linux based and has it's own assortment of drivers for the wide variety of modern hardware. In other words, it does not depend on the hardware configuration of the system it was created on.

If you have any further questions concerning Acronis software, please feel free to submit a request for technical support or post any of them on this forum. We will certainly try to help you in resolving any issues.

    Thank you.
