aaaaaaaahhhhhhh.. MetalStorm... yeppers... man I saw a demo of that thing here in Australia [aussie grocer/retail store owner invented it] about 3 years back.... absolutely bloody awesome... It fired, from what I can remember [don't quote me] around 1 MILLION rounds a minute, and I *think* it was in .22 calibre. He dmolished together something like 10-20 heavy marine plywood doors, [believe me that's pretty tough stuff] and demolished it in less then 1 second. absolutely shattered it like matchsticks. He then fired it against an old junk car, and literally blew a hole in one side and out thru the other about 1/2 metre [1-2ft] across in less than a second, just because of the sheer number of bullets travelling. he also punched a football size hole in 1 INCH heavy metal plate in less than 1-2 seconds... fired thousands of rounds of ammo and because of the rate/number/impact on the metal it gave way.. I mean as quick as you can literally say "atchoo", it was over... truly awesome... and the hand gun he developed, [built in 'trigger' is a computer chip in a ring on hand and in the grip] it fired "caseless" ammo and it could zip out several rounds delivered to within 1 millimetre of each other in blinding speed. One demo of that he fired something like 15-20 rounds in less than 1/10th of a second from what I remember. ouchies... TAS PS: Blaze... ROFL.... thanks for the reminder, that was one demo I will never forget.
