    Title says all.

Why is it there are too separate programs, wouldn't it be easier if it is all in one, and you javacool software don't have to work on two different products - especially the definitions... ?

    Hi,

The reason the two products are currently seperated is because they differ drastically in one main respect: SpywareBlaster is a passive protecion, where you don't have to keep anything running in the background for it, and SpywareGuard is an active protection, where you do have to have it running in the background to provide real-time protection.

In that respect, SpywareBlaster provides several important layers of protection for all systems, and can be used regardless of how old/slow the system is, or how many other programs are using up memory and resources, because it doesn't have to take up any. :)

SpywareGuard does run in the background, and so does take up memory and resources, and some older systems may do better with just SpywareBlaster instead, if memory usage is a significant concern.

To sum it up: It's all about giving people more freedom to choose. :)

    Best regards,

What about a SpywareBlaster with an optional guard module from SpywareGuard , so a user gets the option to CHOOSE to either have an realtime guard - just that or just a normal protection without a exe guard for people who have older slower computers.

And there would be a enable all protection just like the one in current spywareblaster and then a person would have realtime guard AND the spywareblaster protection...

    :p Just a thought
    Aw well...

    Hi,

It is something I could look into - and I definitely will - but I don't see that appearing as an option anytime too soon. ;)

    Best regards,
