Hy,,, i 'm doing some kind of test about my AV .
When i download one RaR file from "some site" ,my NOD 32 (whit the extra settings) do not see nothing, but Kaspersky of my friend, in the middle of the download allert him for six different ignocence " Adaware " stuff .
It's a " VirRar " - test,, ...Only when i extract this RaR file, and when i run the exe. file, my NOD allert me ( sorry my english "i'm trying" ) for this "adaware",,,,,,
my question is : Why did NOD not allert me before i run the file...o_Oo_O?

It depends . However , the most important is they are detected from AMON on-access :)

Please send the file to support @ eset.com along with a link to this threat so that we can check it.

Both are setup files, during installation my AMON moved all Adware.Aureate files to quarantine to prevent their execution. Still, it's just a piece of adware, not a real threat.

No AV scans every type of installers internally. It's imppossible as there are dozens if not hundreds of various installers. The point is that NOD32 protects you against that adware.
