I agree that scanning file downloads is of negligible value, but our realtime antiphishing which inspects web content as it is served to block phishing websites without using a blacklist is very helpful.

Malware running within the sandbox can steal data from within the sandbox, and, no sandbox is perfect.

We compress and only store the changed data, so we avoid having to use double the space, but indeed, we are limited by the physical storage space available (although most users these days have 80-90% free disk space).

When I first came here, I was already using Sandboxie for about two years. In the process of learning SBIE, I discovered Wilders. And when I saw people constantly asking questions about SBIE that I knew the answers, I decided to join.

I'm sure the antiphising on other products works with the sandbox.

Anyone who puts valuable information within the sandbox in the first place is a dummy who does not know how to use a sandbox.

Which brings me back to my earlier point...many of the popular brand AV's touted on this site failed to work properly when employed with a browser supervised by Sandboxie.

The easiest way for you to confirm this is to test and see for yourself.
"I'm sure" is not the best way of making that determination as I found after trying out a half dozen or so.

As to your second point, I am personally very cognizant and fastidious when it comes to using very restricted sandboxes which limit access to any "sensitive" data by processes running within the sandbox...but, since nothing is "perfect", knowing that a viable backup layer is in place "could" make the difference if human or other error comes into play.

It appears that human error may not apply in your case so YMMV.

My last words on the matter.

Which means by 'default' since it doesn't block it and allows it to run, it will read your sensitive docs and send it outbound and nothing will stop it. So much for the super sandbox.

Even on the default settings, it will block connections outbound if deemed suspicious.

Yes, we just don't expose the UI elements but still monitor all connections from XP - Win8 (32 and 64bit).

Excuse me, I really thought that you were honestly asking for information, but you were only trolling. I wouldn't have replied to you if I knew that before.
