Why is this not detected by AV?

    I know the installer in the following torrent has malware:

    ~Link to possible malware removed per the TOS~

    But I have scanned it with KIS, Hitman Pro, MBAM, SAS and A-Squared. All results are negative. I thought one of these should turn something up since the torrent is more than a month old!

    I cannot scan it with Jotti, VirusTotal or any other the other online scanners because it is too big (>100MB).

    So what is this malware?
    Is HIPS the only way to protect again these sort of malware?

    We don't want links to possible malware here. I would submit the link alone to the anti-malware vendors of your choice.
