why f prot isn't used as On Access scanner?

    Many people only use it as a on demand scanner.....

    I think that is because the F-Prot doesn't have an e-mail client scanner...

    It also can't be configured for XP or 2000 (the configuration button just doesn't work) and there's no way to exclude files.

    Lots of reviews and AV comparisons rate its detection highly, but after a short trial with the software it seems incredibly ruff around the edges with many basic features missing.

    Maybe the version 4 of which the ancient legends speak will grace us with its presence one day and fix these problems :D

    well not for every user. At least not for me. I am just have trouble understanding why people use that and that...... etc

    I know that, but I prefer to have an e-mail client scan and incremental updates...
