    The best part of Christmas is you don't have to pick the your favorite part.
    The true blessing about Christmas is all of it!!! :D :D :D

    Its all important from the spirital side to the family and friends all the way to the fun and joy of presents and partying.
    :-* :-* :-*

    Hey all,

    I love EVERYTHING about Christmas...the cozy lights, and especially
    seeing the sparkles in my teenage daughters eyes when they open their
    presents - from SANTA of course !

    ;) :)

    I experienced an uncommon (to me it was) christmas party yesterday. I am doing a special project at a company right now. So it was new to me. What I saw was a lot of mentally and physically more or less disabled people celebrating their xmas party. I noticed that I had never seen in my life before so many lucky people. I had tears in my eyes. And at that moment I hated all the lights, food, presents etc. what we all see around this time of the year, just to show the world how good we are and what a good life we have.

    I picked the gifts I donate and give. I love watching my kids open up presents and watching their faces light up with joy. I like feeling I get when I give out a few toys as donations. It makes me so happy to hear stories of the kids that their perents couldn't afford any thing for them for Chrismas but due to donations the kids (not my kids) wake up with presents and I'm sure that they have a big smile on their faces and they are so happy to get a gift even if their perents didn't buy it. Just the joy of giving makes me happy.

    Remember it's still not to late to give a toy to you local fire department. ;)

    Remember that when you go and see you're family (moms, dads brothers and sisters), makle sure you give them a hug and let them know you care. ;)

    To be honest we don't really celebrate the religious side of christmas much, if at all. For me, christmas is really just a time for the whole family to get together and a time to run away from all your old relatives trying to give you a christmas kiss :eek:

    Hi Peaches
    The little puppy reminded me of all the animals in our shelters that need adopted.

    For all the joy that animals bring us, it's heartbreaking that so many of them are in urgent need of care and kindness this holiday season. Animals like:

    The thousands of sickly dogs born in horrendous conditions in puppy mills;
    The 330,000 harp seals in Canada who will be clubbed or shot to death this spring;
    Wild animals whose lives are threatened by sprawl and by diminished habitat;
    Pets around the nation and globe in desperate need of lifesaving medical care.

    I think of all of them too,and hope alot are adopted this holliday season.
