Who can give me a crash course reading Wireshark traces? - eBay "Forgotten Password"

Hello,
I may have just gotten a spoofer/phisher to take my bait (my changed IP address) and (s)he sent me an eBay "Forgotten Password" email that does not show in my eBay Inbox (proof that the email is spoof/phish).
I have recorded via Wireshark the packets and need a "crash course" in reading/filtering and G*d knows whatever else there is that I can do to find this entity.

PS. further references to fora involved can be published (if the-powers-that-be will allow it.

catching a spoofed mail/attacker whatever? useless! waste of time...
i would do it via several proxies - you never wont get me!
