    I presume you mean glossy instead of glare and matte instead of non-glare.

    I prefer glossy screens because the colours look more vivid.

    I actually own three laptops with matte screens and only one with a glossy one, even though I prefer glossy screens. But this is due to me owning older laptops which came out when matte screens were still widely available, and some of these I purchased because they were very cheap on eBay. But if money wasn't an object, I would have spent more to get ones with glossy screens.

    Definitely glare. They are so much more vibrant than the grainy non-glare monitors. I wish I could find a good 24-26" for my desktop. Dell makes some nice ones, but they all lack VESA mounting which is something I need.
