which is the best & the worse defrag?

    To answer the OP: I really have no opinion on which is the worst defrag, but the best one for me has been Diskeeper. As mentioned in the other thread, it runs without leeching resources, and it very unintrusive, so I like it a lot. I use both Diskeeper 2007 and 2008 and both have been excellent for my needs.:)

    Here you can find a nice article about NTFS and why it should be defragmented.

    It doesn't mention a lot about disk defragmenters but I think it's still worth reading. (Means of the decision? is about defragmenting and defragmenting programs)

    this forum is biased!
    i use system mechanic,

    seems to do a good job.

    plus, it does most other jobs on my machine too, all in one utility which is quite cool and extremely useful.
