    Hi Jima,

Excellent, you are almost there. Again, through the program but this time make a restore ISO instead of restore CD. Make this ISO on a different partition/disk under the folder called, "WinPE".

You can make this ISO on the desktop if you want to, then move it to a a different partition/disk under the folder called, "WinPE".

Let me know and then we are almost done! :)

    Best regards,

    Mohamed

    P. S. Also download and install EasyBCD from this link:

One question - Would it be easy to undo this if I chose in the future?

    Hi Jima,

First to answer you above question. It is very easy to delete from EasyBCD, from the second menu on the left called, "Edit Boot Menu". CAUTION, only use this menu for deletion and nothing else. If you do other stuff from this menu then it will mess up your beautiful METRO menu on bootup, and you will have the old W7 menu on bootup.

Please if you want to change the "wait timing" from 30 seconds to less, then I will show you where to do this. Don't do this in this menu.

    Please see screen shot.

    Best regards,

    Mohamed

Now, de-compress the Rescue.iso, with either WinRAR or 7-Zip. You will now have a sub-directory called, "Rescue". You don't need the ISO anymore, and you can delete it if you want.

Start EasyBCD, go to third menu on the left called, "Add New Entry" and then go to third item on the bottom called, "WinPE". In "Path" browse to to the Rescue > Sources and choose "Boot.wim". Give it a name and then at the bottom click, "Add Entry".

You are done and you don't need EasyBCD anymore, unless in future you want to delete the entry.

Again, in future, if there is an upgrade to Macrium Reflect Recovery Media, then make a new ISO, de-compress the ISO, and replace the new "Rescue" directory with the old "Rescue" directory.

    Please see attached image.

    Best regards,

    Mohamed

    Hi Jima,

From now on you can add as many bootable ISOs to the boot menu on bootup as your heart content. It is not restricted to Macrium Reflect only.

    Best regards,

    Mohamed
