Which firewall with Microsoft Security Essentials?

    I'm pretty sure the Windows firewall will be good enough with MSE. It works for me. I have usually used AV suites & had Bullguard (Outpost), Norton & McAfee in the past. I'm pretty sure WF works fine. I have a hub (router) firewall anyway.

    Added SpyShelter to MSE + W7Firewall (removed keyscrambler).

    Looking good but keyscrambler always handy in-case something slips by and tries to grab ur keystrokes.o_O

    Come on guys, what's the point of this thread? There's another one floating around - "which firewall for a university laptop". As if the inherent complexity of a firewall app wasn't enough, people now want firewalls for specific scenarios. This is plain crazy. Try a few and see which one suits your rig.

    IM using MSE with CIS5 d+,sandbox

    Stable and fast...no issues
