    Hi,
There are a lot of download sites.
And I want to ask you guys which download sites you trust.
Or maybe which download sites you always go to check the lastest updates.
I always goto Fileforum to checkout the latest updates.
    You?

P.S: No ones going to say WSF, right? :doubt:

I always try to go to the software developers own site if possible.

I always look at cnet's download.com first. Many users reviews, fast downloads, nice look and installation confirmed spyware & adaware free.

But I believe that all the big sites are more than safe: fileforum/betanews, snapfiles, tucows, softpedia etc.

Download from above sites without any hesitation.

Softpedia & Filehippo. I also look for freeware on FreewareFiles, but I do not trust it, becuase it offers fake soft as well.

I second that. I always start from the official home page, which is a good and safe habit and I have that link stored in my installation file per software.

    FileHippo, Softpedia, Betanews.

I like FileHippo's update checker. Softpedia and Betanews also has a nifty feature that can notify (thru email) registered users of updates to programs that they choose.
