where to extract trendmicro-patternfile?

trendmicros onlinescan -after doin a scan told me in one of these results:
Spyware Name Spyware Type
ADW_SECTHOUGHT.A Adware
SPYW_FLASHGET.16 Spyware
SPYW_FPTLBAR.100 Spyware
ADW_FLASHGET.A Adware

to install a patternfile and rerun. where do i have to extract that zipped file? anywhere?
i am indmidst the procedures of wildessecurities
" GENERAL virus and trojan removal instructions."
some of of the four above listed ad/spyware-removal instructions are really complicated. i will preceed them after second run.
