Where is the free online armor log

    Before I could see the blocked and not blocked adresses in kerio 2.1.5.But how can I see this in online armor free
    online armor free is a good firewall,and no problems so far.Thanks for such a good firewall.

    Hi cet,

    There is yet no graphical interface for logging but you can view all the log files (in Tall Emu\Online Armor\Logs) with a text editor

    I looked into the logs from where you said.But strangely there are not much blocked items.But in kerio 2.1.5 there were many blocked items.Why I would like to learn.

    I think this is because Kerio showed all the dropped packets while here you see only blocked connections which cannot be many.

    So the packets are blocked or not?
    We are talking about online armor free.

    I think it's OA free because nobody uses no more Outpost 1 :D

    What kind of event are you logging ? (take a look at Options/Firewall)

    Yes, the packets are blocked. In other words there is SPI implemented. But why do you bother about it ? Only NDIS level driver can send packets without creating connection. But as long as OA has HIPS which prevents unauthorized driver installation, there is nothing to worry about.

    Also when I close the firewall I do not get a security center notification.Is it a known bug, or something about my PC.(security center says that the online armor free firewal is on)
    when I close antivir guard I get a security center notification.

    No, this is unknown bug, and definitely this is a bug. Does you FW log ends with

    [21:09:09] 1EC --
    [21:09:09] 1EC Turning Firewall state off.
    [21:09:09] 1EC Firewall is disabled.
    [21:09:09] 1EC --

    ?

    When I turn OA Free off I get immediate notification from Windows Security Center; so it may be directly related to your specific configuration instead of being a program bug.

    OH you are right.I checked my security center and looked into the ''change the way security center alerts me''and checked the firewall option.Now I get the alert.Thanks.
