Where do Antivirus vendors get daily signatures?

    Wow, you have to pay for upgraded service. That's why I use ThreatExpert.

    Both,
    org,user who uses the security software,security vendor communicate the speciments each other,
    most important thing is "cloud security"from long time ago!:mad:

    In-the-cloud is useful; however there have been mixed results.

    McAfee + Artermis *beta* = 99.0% detection ... Norton achieved that ... already, along with an array of other suites that achieved or broke the 99.0% milestone

    Panda "Collective Intelligence", or "TruPrevent" scores ~91% detection of malware and ~95% of ad/spyware ... and to use TruPrevent you need at least 512 megabytes of ram, compared to other vendor's lower requirements ... and many users complain about how sluggish and heavy Panda feels.
