When I update Spyware Blaster it corrupts the database. I used uninstaller to remove all registry entries and reinstalled. It works fine until I update again upon updating the database is corrupted again. Any else having this problem?

    Hi,

Please try the following and let me know if it helps - thanks!

    1.) Open SpywareBlaster.
2.) Click on the "Updates" tab.
3.) Then the "Options" button near the top of the screen.
4.) And select "Use a direct connection to the Internet."

Then close SpywareBlaster, restart your computer, and try running SpywareBlaster's Check for Updates process again.

    Best regards and thanks,

I tried your suggestions in post 2. Unfortunately I am still having the same problem and what’s weird is it always worked before. Spyware Blaster works fine when I first load it. When I update all elements IE, Mozilla etc show a corrupt database. I am on XP running BoClean, NOD32, Sygate, Spyware Guard, and Spybot. I am stumped on this one, all other software seems to be updating fine.

Concerning Nod32....if your using Imon....have you tried changing Spywareblaster from 'higher efficiency' to 'higher compatibility' ?
