    Maybe I'll retry norton. It was a pain when I had to switch becuase it didn't have one of the sites I needed.

    Even though when I'm really exploring the web I'm in virtual mode, I usually rely on Chrome (it has alerted me many times about potentially dangerous sites) and lately Avira's web protection which doesn't affect anymore my browsing speed.

    Chrome's Safe Browsing Bloom - Hassle-free
    Bitdefender TrafficLight - Unobtrusive, value added features such as Saf.li and Facebook Protection
    WOT - You can't go wrong with it
    SpywareBlaster - Still ideal for IE8
