I'm currently using Trend Micro for my XP, however for my ME, i'd like something that runs smoother, but has a high overall grading in most important aspects of an PC AV. AND not NOD32.

^^ thanks!!! Avast! is working fine for me. :)

i don't want to start another thread for another quick question so here it goes: I wanted to get Ad-aware but the current versions don't support ME, only up to Windows 2000. is there anything current out there that can do a good job like what Ad-aware does.

Hi Ziostilon, and welcome to the forum.

I'm glad to see you were able to find an AV that suited your needs. As for your other question, we do like to keep threads on topic and placed in the appropriate forums, so please open a new thread in the Other Anti-Malware Forum for questions relating to anti-spyware software.

    Thanks,

    Snap

Since the OP has found a solution to his AV question, and to avoid any off-topic posts, I'll close this thread now.
