I had a secure zone created by a computer "expert" and now want to know what programmes are in it so I can selectively add incrementally to that. I can't find any way of actually viewing what is in the zone. Hope u can help

    Hello bigharry,

Thank you for using Acronis Products

Acronis Secure Zone is a special hidden partition, it doesn’t contain any programs. It was designed to store backup archives and as a need in order to activate Acronis Startup Recovery Manager. I may recommend you to read more about this option in user guide

Acronis Secure Zone will automatically delete the oldest backup archives in case there is not enough free space for a new backup. If you want to browse Acronis Secure Zone you can use recovery option, point to Acronis Secure Zone while Recovery Wizard and see what backups reside inside. Just don’t proceed to the final step of the recovery.

    Best regards,

    Dmitry,

I think you're contradicting yourself with those two sentences. The ASRM is a program and it certainly is contained in the SZ if it's been activated.

    Hello all,

Thank you for using Acronis True Image

    Paul,

    One note:

In build #9788 of Acronis True Image Home 2009 Acronis Startup Recovery Manager and Acronis Secure Zone have been updated: Acronis Startup Recover Manger is no longer installed in the Acronis Secure Zone. It remains resident on the primary partition. All other executable components of Acronis True Image Home 2009 run on the primary partition under the Windows operating system. It is therefore not necessary to create Acronis Secure Zone in order to activate Acronis Startup Recovery Manager.

    Thank you.
