What's going on with Comodo FW, here?

    When it asks for permissions, I check always on my known programs but it is asking for permissions intermittently again. For example, I checked always for my mail program, Eudora. Eudora made several dozen checks for email afterwards but then out of the blue, Comodo comes up with another message asking for permission for Eudora to access the Internet. Same thing happened with Firefox. Why is it doing this, is there a setting I need to set or change?

    Are you sure the alerts are the same?

    Comodo can give a lot of prompts mostly due to its Application Behavior Analysis. You can try disabling some features of it or just disable Application Behavior Analysis altogether. Whichever you prefer.

    If you have those programs set to auto-update then the changes will cause a new prompt as well.

    Do you have the alert frequency set at low? If not, give that a shot.
