No, Firecat I will not take your words in a wrong way!
I respect you and you know that!
However, others have shown me no respect here from the first time!
But this has to do with another forum and some users there who
    write here, too.
    In our subject:
I tried to analyze, even in such a lengthy way, my views, because I wanted to
    talk about the AV+AS+FW combination the Suites offer;
Just to support why I don't like them anymore.
Since Suites are part of the traditional approach, I wrote a few lines more.
If you want me just to write short messages, that's understood...

Okay, I understand where you are coming from now. :)

Well, you can elaborate on your reasons but mentioning a different approach quickly veers it off topic sometimes even if that was not your intention. Therefore it is always preferred to keep things short and simple, such that the message is got across, nobody is insulted and your opinion is expressed. :)

Anyway, with that I would like to end this particular discussion as I feel even this is going off topic. So lets just get back to discussing what suites have surprised us. If you have anything more to say, feel free to send me a private message :)

    this forum is biased!
    a reminder........

at the moment, as for 'suites', only the following seem appealing to me.

    F-secure
    GData
    AVG
    Norton
    Bitdefender

and out of those 5, id say that only Norton has taken a step backwards from its previous version, although thats just my opinion.

the rest, just dont appeal to me.

    To all,

A number of off-topic posts have been excised, with an equal number of replies pulled down in the undertow.

If the thread continues on this BS line of development (veering off-topic, variously suggesting ulterior motives regarding the posts of some members (which isn't true, but even if it were, the cleansing action of the light of day would readily redress accommodate that situation), idle tit-for-tat sniping comment and countercomment, etc.), the thread will be closed.

There will be no addition warning, no additional cleanup, no additional action save for thread closure.

Norton has surprised me in a positive way after years of bloat.

Bitdefender seems to have taken a step back IMO.
