Few hardware firewalls do block outbound access as that would render most systems unusable. So what you need is just a decent software firewall to give good application control, which is really most of the better free and paid-for firewalls. The three you mention are all very capable, so I'd suggest trying all of those and seeing which one suits your expectations the best. All will be fine working alongside a hardware router/firewall.

Leaktests are not the only one decision to use a software firewall.
If you try many of those, I expect soon you will get conflicts and need to reformat.

My firewall, Sygate, was excluded from those tests, since it is not sold anymore.
So no more interest to that leaking firewall tester.

But Sygate has better logging abilities than many other firewalls.

TRying something like jetico, getting top notch in the rank.
Well, guestion comes, can you handle it?
It is just leaktests, nothing to do with running your PC without unnecessary harassment from your firewall.
So you decide what is a working protection and what is too much.
Only .... testing firewalls leaves traces :(

I got LnS a couple days after trialing it, and have only been happier about it since. Very light and easy to use and very versatile. Get Phant0m's ruleset for additional rules you generally don't find elsewhere.
