I tried to find a post where I or someone else had asked you this question before, but was unable to find. I'm using Windows XP and the programs listed after my signature below. Could you please reccommend what to have FC ck for me?

Has anyone got any suggestions as far as a default type list of files?

Yep - sorry about the late reply. :)

    I would recommend adding:
1.) All executables in your AVG directory, except any named "updater.exe" (or something similar).
    2.) The Ad-Aware executable.
3.) The main Spybot S & D executable (but I recommend against adding any other files, as they may be updated frequently).
    4.) ZoneAlarm.exe
5.) The main executables of all of my programs that you use (although if you get incorrect alerts please report it - there could be a conflict with trying to add those to the watch list).
6.) All executables in the NOD32 folder, except any related to updating.

That should cover the software in your signature fairly well. :)

    Best regards,
