Graphics conversion filter? I saw this 2 years ago when I wanted to print out a calendar. Today it came up again.

It's basically a translating program or capability within a program to either:
    • Switch between graphic formats - for example, input a jpeg file, output the equivalent image as a gif file.
    • Translate images embedded in a file from a foreign format to a native format supported by that application

How can I bring up the graphic filter? I am seeing a popup on things I want to print.
I would like to have it available.

graphics filters are not stand alone programs that you can bring up. They are part of other apps, such as graphics packages (paintshop pro, MS Paint, etc.).

A good free app that interconverts many graphics formats is irfanview
