I'm crossing my finger that they would add it to EAM

Honestly with the former security setup you had I'm surprised you didn't have BSODs and constant crashing. It was just way too much my friend lol, it was getting sloppy :D. Its best to keep it simple.

What I would to like to see is the implementation of Parental Control & Anti-Spam modules in the future versions.

Placed Shadow defender back to on-demand. Once again I downloaded something and forgot I was in shadow mode. Forgot to place it in the excluded folder. *BAM* Gone on reboot. :'(
Added the Norton AV 6 month deal. Runs nice and light.
Its a good fill in till PCAV 2.0 comes out.
Of course I might need the whole 6 months.

Well honestly because you are using sandboxie, you don't really need EAM. Sandboxie + OA + HitmanPro + Norton DNS is a great light setup. If you were using Windows 7, I would even say that Sandboxie + EAM + HitmanPro + Norton DNS would be a great setup as well.

But EAM complements the setup you recommend, right? I'm gonna keep it since it's a 3 year license. Also would adding MBAM PRO to my current setup be a good idea?

I don't have problem with neither EAM or OA, I like both but I prefer to seperate them and use them in different setups as I mentioned in my previous post. I understand about have a 3 year license. Your current setup is fine that way it is, no need for MBAM realtime. If you want to use it, make it on-demand IMO.

Honestly J, ams has Sandboxie, so he could just use Sandboxie + HitmanPro if he wanted to.

Thank you adult. But may I ask why you like to use EAM and OA separately? I mean they from the same company and are grouped as Emsisoft Internet Security Pack. They complement each other.

I have use them together before without an issue, except with a bit of sloppiness. I just don't need both. I prefer to have less overhead and the least amount of 3rd party security software as possible. Only reason I was trying different setup was to be able to guide others I know. I personally don't need much to protect my system.

    I agree J. I like Emsisoft.

Yeah totally. I had asked them why they don't implement Parental Control and Anti-Spam modules into EAM and OA and they replied that Emsisoft's users don't want the products to get bloated as the users' email programs already have spam protection. Talk about good thinking. They really listen to their users and know what to do. The whole Team is awesome I tell you.

I don't blame them. No need to bloat a security program.

Well actually in a way no. My setup right now could be lighter technically if I wanted it.

what? I mean you do use a browser right? I have firefox with some add-ons. There is nothing lighter than Norton dns. Only extra is sandboxie. It's as light as they come. What would be the lighter setup that think you can achieve? :doubt:

I'm using Comodo Firewall & Defense+ because I like HIPS hehee :D. I meant I could replace that with Windows 7 Firewall and/or also use applocker if I wanted it lighter but its not neccessary.
