Just added Emisoft Emergency Kit to my setup. The scan is sloooooooooow, it found some false positives but it can pass for monthly on demand scanner...

TBH the performance hasnt changed much compared to my last setup which is questionable and after using FF for few days now i remember why i left it in the first place, sometimes its slow as hell. moving between tabs and sometimes even scrolling is a pain.
trying to figure out the cause.

risky move, good luck to you.
outpost is well-known for BSOD and its not compatible with most of the other security softwares, just watch out. last time i tried to install it a month back gave me a bsod on 7 which i havent seen before till then. was a pain to fix the windows.

Ditched the Panda ( PCAV pro)
    Added WSA AV.
That last update fixed the issue I was having with Shadow Defender. So its Comodo Firewall, Sandboxie and WSA AV.

Ok I spoke to soon. Still have a lock up issue with WSA. Not really sure what's going on. I think I'll give tech support a jingle and see if I can't narrow down the issue. Back to Panda cloud for the moment.

What do you mean by lock up issue? I'm curious as I'm using a similar setup.

When I'm running firefox (latest version) and randomly 'surfing the web', firefox will freeze up. I won't be able to do much other than move my pointer around. I can't even get into task manager. I have to do a hard reboot.
It doesn't seem to have any specific area that causes it. I have exclusions in comodo and it has full access to the internet.

Oh ok. I thought it was related to another issue I was having with that setup. But my issue was different. Thanks for your response.

    What's your issue?
I'm thinking I may have found my issue. I have internet restriction on sandboxie when I run firefox. I don't believe that I have WSA added to the allowed list. The onyl things that have internet access are firefox, java and adobe. Hmmm. This might be a problem.

My issue was either Comodo or WSA was crashing my laptop but found out Comodo was the culprit. I think the combination of the Microsoft WFP Hotfix and Comodo 5.10 fixed my issue. This was a few weeks ago.
