    Was using avast free
after reading many ppl recommending eset i tried ess
    i must say im impressed
i have used in the past too but there was some issues
but now after using it for 3 days and tinkering with the settings i found it to be superb
only thing i noticed was it was using around 60 mb ram whereas avast uses just 10 - 15 mb
well thats not a big deal but just telling
m looking forward to testing ess 5

also tried panda cloud pro for a day but suddenly it crashed and wouldnt start
i uninstalled cmt and when pc restarted windows disk check began and it recovered all the panda files
    cmt somehow corrupted pcav

    right now back to ais
now il change this setup when ess 5 and/or prevx 4 release

I use LastPass, and it took me a while to figure out how to get it to remember my password in Sandboxie. I unclicked protected mode in unsandboxed IE8 security settings,
quit IE8, restarted unsandboxed IE8, and quit again. Then started up sandboxed IE8 and put in password to LastPass and clicked remember password. Then quit and restarted unsandboxed IE8 and clicked on protected mode and made sure remember LastPass password was still checked. LastPass runs without any problems now. You could try it with your password program and see if that works for you. But Sandboxie also has a box to check for LastPass in the security settings to allow them to run together, so I don't if that will matter in working with your password program.

    tnx m8.

    it's a no-go for me.
    it doesn't matter though.

as long as i can restore an image that's all that matters to me. ;)

I am not sure I feel so safe with AIS but with Sandboxie also running it probably doesn't matter what else I use. I am looking forward to OA V5 sometime this month.

Didn't think I needed it since I installed SpyShelter Personal. I think I'm pretty safe while on line with GesWall, Keyscrambler, Drop my rights and now with SpyShelter along with firefox addons, Adblock,WOT,VTzilla don't you think ? Seems that with this como so far everything is running smooth and quick. No Lags or slowdowns. Any further advice is appreciated.

    • Keriver 1-Click Restore Proalready covers all types of problems. The only danger is if you give physical problem in HD, but everything will be saved in external HD (Thanks to SyncToy).

    • Definitely my best security configuration, does not weigh anything in my system, is fast and strong, if the Hitman Pro detects something just restore the snapshot (With Keriver 1-Click Restore Pro) and poof, everything new again.

Thanks, it really is a great program, I sure do regret using it.

Even if you search, the Pro version is with a super discount, if not mistaken 40%.

I am still using Sandoxie Paid and Privatefirewall...great combo!
Sandboxie is setup with all access restrictions, drop rights, auto delete etc.

I also have Windows Defender, EMET, UAC at Max, and Autorun/Autoplay disabled.

HMP gives me the all clear with occasional scans....

Plus I take backups with Macrium Reflect Free!

Very happy with this setup, hopefully I will be keeping it for a while and avoid the urge to try something new, tweak something or just start again - you know that "Wilders feeling" :p

A few days back I did a clean install of Win 7 X64 HP (Just something I like to do from time to time), so I tested out a few things.

Decided to give ESET a try again. Not much has changed here. Still a good program, but overpriced. Uninstalled.

Put Avast IS 6 back on to try it AGAIN. Still not impressed. uninstalled and refund requested.

Removed Prevx Safe Online from my system as It was slowing down my system. Not by a large amount, but I could certainly notice when it was "verifing Files".

So, I'm down to what's in my sig. This is pretty much what I've always run with no issues.

Most of my testing lately is just that...testing. Not really unhappy with MSE etc.
