My Secunia System Score is 100%

Anyone else have the same?

 

I'm at 98% at the moment, simply because SilverCrap 4 (SilverLight) won't work with NetFlix on Win 7 64bit.

Well, you have to take into consideration old programs that may no longer be updated. They may work beautifully, and not really have any security issues, they're just old. Secunia PSI doesn't just count vulnerabilities, if it sees a version number that was released way back, it'll flag it. There are some cases, like mine, where the newest version of a program may not work properly, and a user doesn't update. I personally would rather have outdated software that works than worry about what score I have.

 

Although I don't have it, my score should be 100% due to my rigorous update schedule.

 

Install an application just to see what score someone else gives my system? Pointless.

 

Well, if it's used for that, then yes, that's silly. I use it on auto so I don't have to keep constantly checking for updates to Flash, Java (yes, I know, I still need it though), and the rest of my programs that may not get as much use as the browser.

 

I just keep my OS and the rest of my programs Updated.
Nothing Less; nothing more.
