What is your proffessional title?

Ever wondered what PhD stands for? I heard that its some sort of degree or something, but I call it:
PhD= Permanent Head Disorder

 

Takes many year and a lot of work to do a PhD.

Its a masters degree if I guess...

 

One of my relatives has a PhD, she finds that she is over qualified for a large number of jobs.

Wow, she's fantastic! She can get any job that she wants.

 

You would think so but like most people she wants a bit of a challenge in her work, she claims finding the right job can be difficult for someone with such high qualifications. I don't intend to do a PhD

This one was "explained" many years ago, nadirah, in nice simple terms:

We all know what B.S. means, at least in the English-speaking world;

M.S. is "more of the same";

And the supposed ultimate, PhD, is "Piled higher and deeper".

So that's why those R.A.F. blokes stay away from the H.M.R.N. blokes.

We call the NAVY guys SQUID's, but the wildman has got to be careful, where I live we are surrounded by them, also JAR HEADS, not many GRAVEL AGITATOR'S however.
