what is your favorite windows firewall controller?

    Not all users, only administrator, if all users have access to the firewall modifications, then you do not need firewall !

    If you are alone on the PC, you're right, you do not need none of this.

    That's more than obvious, no? ;) An administrator is still an user, it just happens to be one with increased access to protected areas and components.

    Don't need nothing of what, exactly? Outbound control or three rules for the different profiles?

    From version 3.9.0.0, WFC has a log view where the user can see recently outgoing blocked connections. From this view, the user can:

    - Allow or block one or multiple programs at one time
    - Start a whois query in the default browser by using networktools.nl
    - Check the remote IP through ipvoid.com
    - Check the file based on the SHA256 algorithm on virustotal.com
    - Open file location on the disk

    The entries can be filtered by: the last day, the last three days, the last week.
