Hi, I have a licensed copy of FD Pro build 173. I see referances to using VSS and RSS but I am unable to locate any such thing within FD-ISR. The help file briefly mentions VSS but gives no information. Can anyone enlighten me please?

I personally find using VSS slows the copy/update procedure somewhat especially during the initalisation stage so I have reverted to using RSS. The functions work just the same whichever is used.

VSS is just as fast as RSS on my system + it saves space :)

It's not the actual VSS I find slow, Brian. I mean when you begin the copy/update process it takes longer to reach the point of indexing the directories, presumably because it's starting the service. With RSS, the indexing starts almost immediately.
