What is the diff. between these Intel Chipset Drivers?

    I noticed there are 2 diff. sets of Intel Chipset Software on this site:

    http://www.station-drivers.com/page/intel chipset.htm

    One is 9.4.0.1014 supports WinXP/7/8

    and the other below is: 6.2.9200.PR7 which supports Win 8 only

    So if someone was to Install Windows 8, which one should he install only the 2nd?

    any details on the differences ?

    The difference might have to do with Windows 8 motherboards requiring Secure Boot to be set, and the others (WinXP, Win7) not.
