mmm not exactly, im a power user and i hate lower resolutions smalls screens and i hate underpowered machines i always use desktops.
Making blanket statements about notebook brands is foolish - Acer is bad, HP is good etc. I have been so long in this business that I have seen stuff from every brand fail, sooner or later, in ways that is unacceptable. It all depends on which product line from a particular vendor you purchase, and then which particular model. Sometimes you are plain unlucky to be delivered a brick, which was caused by a faulty batch. That said some trends do exist - 1. Business class laptops, though more expensive than consumer class, have better reliability. 2. Lenovo ThinkPads, Dell Latitudes, HP Pro/EliteBooks show considerably better sustainability. 3. More than brand, what actually matters is the quality of components - touchpad, network card etc. What the vendor can control is the design. 4. Fujitsu gets most of its machines built in Germany, and has better overall quality.
i have 3 laptops 1- sony ( the best laptop i use ) but its expencve 2- asus ( very good and every thing going fast ) 3- acer ( very good but i have problem with the sound some times ) maybe i will buy asus coz good price without problems
