    Adobe bought Macromedia. You should remove it as older versions of flash can have security issues. See this link for a tool to remove it. http://kb.adobe.com/selfservice/viewContent.do?externalId=tn_14157&sliceId=2 Note that the tool removes ALL flash so you would need to reinstall the new version again.

    Also note that Microsoft released a security patch for an earlier version of flash. On PCs that had the patch, removal of the version of flash this update is protecting is blocked unless you first remove the MS Windows update. See this link for info on this issue. http://www.microsoft.com/technet/security/Bulletin/MS06-020.mspx

    Seems I don,t have this registry key:

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Active Setup\Installed Components\{1325db73-d9f1-48f8-8895-6d814ec58889}

    So I don,t have that update. But still I can,t uninstall it. Why?

    That,s very annoying. I don,t think I will be able to get rid of older version. Too bad. My browser is using new version but I am just irritated by older version shown in Add/ Remove list.
