What is http://www.ecm8.com/

I have just checked my Google mail and find a promotion from MYOB (it is a genuine accounts s/w). The url is www.myob.co.uk but it actually resolves to http://www.ecm8.com/rp//4/process.clsp?t ( I have removed the last part of it.

Does anyone know what ecm8 is? It seems to be legitimate, but who knows nowadays.

 

MYOB UK use a company called Campaign Master, to enable us to send emails to our clients and also allows us the ability to analyse the open rates and click throughs for each email campaign/communication. The URL you are referring to is Campaign Master's domain name, where the online version of our emails is hosted. There is no need to be concerned with this URL in the future. However url's that do not resolve to who they say they are or are not recognised as legitimate, or have identifiers on them are binned. Since I have never purchased MYOB I am not a client of yours so this has to be assumed as SPAM.
