    Hi All,

    If I submit a suspect file to samples (at) nod32.com, how long does it take them to respond?

    I generally get a response to 6 samples or less the next morning (if I send them after 3 pm EST).

    It should be samples@eset.com.

    Thanks Rumpstah.

    I sent a sample last week to support (at) nod32.com (that's where ronjor suggested to send it) but there was no response yet, maybe the email didn't make it. Since there was no response, I sent it again today to samples (at) nod32.com since that was listed in the nod32 help file. I'll wait till tomorrow, if no response then I'll send it to the address you suggested. Thanks.

    @TheQuest,
    I'm patient, I waited a week for a reply. Since this was the first sample I've sent in, I thought I'd ask before sending again.

    @Blackspear,
    Thanks for the link. I think Dog has a future as a game show host! :)

    Send the sample to either address as per this thread.

    Hi, Devinco

    No offence was meant at or about you.

    It is a remark [how long is a piece of string?] I often make to an impossible answer, but I it is never said with malice. [just humorous]

    How long is a piece of string?
    [putting away tape measure after hours of thorough testing]
    Longer than you expect, but always shorter than advertised! :D

    What is Eset's average response time for submitted samples?
    Only Eset would know that I guess, based on statistical data.
    In my case I was very pleasantly surprised.
    When the sample was sent to the correct address, they responded in 2 days. Not only did they respond, they added the False Positive to their signature update as well! No more false positive!
    Good job Eset!! Thank you. :) :)
