...and I chose to pay for it, too! (after a trial)
It scores well in product-comparison tests.
But the best thing is the Active Content filter:
    it lets me
-- control ALL of my browsers with ONE set of rules
for scripts, cookies, Java, ActiveX, popups, etc.
-- specify exceptions for individual sites.
And when I don't want to bother to specify an
exception, I can turn off the filtering with a single click.

    Outpost Firewall Pro.
If you have the chance to read PC Expert issue 153 May 2005, you will know who is the best firewall at the moment.
    Best regards,
    Richard

I tried some but many problems I found, so for now I use the NetVeda 3.61, it is light and easy to use w out of the box settings and it didn't slow down my dial-up connections. I know this firewall is not very popular like the others in firewallleaktester.com so I have to use some added protection softwares like SSM and ProcessGuard and Ewido and A-Squared anti-Trojans sofwares. And also I use Avast AntiVirus coz it has Network Shield and WebShield for added layer of protections.

The best thing about NetVeda is that it works like a pro versions like some out there... and still it is free. ;)

:) Zone Alarm was recommended, thus it is the one I am using.

    Thanks

Was running OutPost 2.6 before, but after I updated to 2.7 it killed my internet connection after some time.
Don't know why, but searched for an answer as long as my connection lasted, otherwise I had to reboot.
OutPost is a very nice firewall, but because of the problems I was having, I looked elsewhere.
Tried & bought ZoneAlarm Pro and it keeps my connection, so I'm happy again. :)
If there's another OutPost update, maybe I'll try that one.

    So much choice. :D

I tried the trial version for couple of days and then bought the license. In that same trial version I changed the key and it became a pro version. Incase you are planning to upgrade, I suggest you to do a clean install.

    Cheers

    Akshay.
