Still...if it popped over your Firefox why not mine...I saw the message that it was being blocked by Firefox.

Looks like that's just the way it is. Which is actually better than thinking there's something wrong...BUT then, wonder why you're not having the same difficulty?

Our Firefoxes are doing things differently. o_O

How does the standard editor work for you here?

I would suggest thatb you go to the user CP & under edit options/miscellaneous options select the standard editer in the drop down box

that works perfectly well and you don't need the hassle with the wysiwyg editor here

It's boring and I hate it, <pouting like a child> but the right click options are appropriate.
Will try the medium one...but think I'll prefer the WYSIWYG. The cut, copy & paste options are readily available at the top. I LIKE formatting, sometimes!
    ==================
From medium one--this works right, too. :) I've found out something about editing which explains things I thought I must've missed the first time through. Cryptic, huh? Will have to decide which is more practical...

That was a version of the software this board uses.
Use the standard format for awhile and see how it works for you.

BeetleBoss is going to lend a hand.

The biggest thing I find interesting at this point is why the Firefox in my computer and the one in yours are interacting differently with this site and with those pop-up things. It's not worth a lot of effort into my formatting if it's not a symptom that I've got some kind of corruption in the program on my hard drive. That means it's probably not changeable, either.

I use proxomitron. And you use several different programs. Proxomitron effects Firefox in different ways.
    I wouldn't format anything! :D

I thought you said you used the WYSIWYG...but maybe not? Anyhow, one thing I've learned online is that the interactions between the Internet, hardware & software are complicated.

I had proxomitron in briefly because it sounded good...but since I didn't really know what to do with it OR fully understand what it did (despite thinking it sounded good...go figure ;)) I decided I was better off without it. That was maybe a year ago.

So...I wonder why the Firefox error message doesn't exactly tell the truth. But we don't need to go there. Thanks for all your help!:)

I use the standard editor. I did try the wysiwyg when you mentioned it. I just didn't try it long enough.
I will do some more, ahem, research on this problem. :ninja: :D

Try the right-click options in WYSIWYG, and you'll probably see yours doing the same as mine! :D It's just the cut, copy & paste... Do you see the smiley with sunglasses OR a rectangle, there?

Gotta feed cat and give insulin now...Thanks, again!
