:doubt: I believe it means that I have finally accepted myself, as I am, so now I can look at other things and find something of myself in them. :)
    ;) Maybe beauty is recognition.

Beauty is a wiggly baby with that surprised stare that sees a new world each day.

Or, a small child who suddenly begins to whirl in circles around a room or playground for no apparent reason, like some possessed kitten.

Or, that old person on the park bench who tells you a marvelous story of things past.

Or, friends you have today and had 40+ years ago. (I'm fortunate to have many of those.)

Or, the centerfielder who turns his back to home plate @ the crack of the bat, only to glide gently under the descending line drive to make one of those "Oh-my-gawwwwd" catches.

    ;) :)

Supposedly you cannot really appreciate beauty if you have none yourself, in that case Valkyri001, your statement is beauty itself! I like all the posts, but, yours "rang" with truth to me! Thanks for letting us see things from a different view.

May we all learn to accept ourselves enough to see that the true beauty of the universe is we are all a part of it!!.

Well, you certainly got me thinking so deep I'll bury myself if I don't get some laughs!:) I would think laughter is beauty too!!

The Navajo Indians are known to say, "May you walk in beauty...".

So, may we walk in beauty the rest of our days. :)

To me, inner beauty matters more. Never judge a book by its cover. Just because some person looks good on the outside does not mean that he/she is really good on the inside.
