7 Zip will extract ISO for you, you can't do boot sector burn with it though.

I bought a license for WinRAR back in 199x and able to update for life. It does iso extracting too but I've never used it.

I use the free Virtual Clone Drive - http://www.slysoft.com/en/virtual-clonedrive.html to mount the images and then just read them as a disk, much faster than trying to access them as an archive.

Deamon tools is a more popular alternative to virtual clone drive (but I use slysoft tools and I know they all play well together).

I also use UltraISO as well, there is a 300mb limit on creating ISO with the free (unpurchased - no time limit to trial) version, but still reads ISO fine.

I've heard Imgburn (http://www.imgburn.com ) mentioned a few times but never had chance to try it, same with InfraRecorder (http://infrarecorder.sourceforge.net/), not sure if these are capable of reading ISO files or not.
