What do these abbrevations mean

    hi, i am reading articles here and i have come across some interesting discussions and also some abbrevations that are probably namesfor certain software and was wondering if anyone could tell me what programs are these and/or what these abrevations stand for

    CIS
    LUA
    SRP

    saw them mentioned in the thread about x64bit protection. very good thread by the way.

    CIS = Comodo Internet Security
    LUA = Limited User Account
    SRP = Software Restriction Policy

    I've been posting here for a few years, and find that you really have to keep up on abbreviations to be able to understand what's being discussed sometimes. I think it should be a rule that if you are going to refer to something and abbreviate it throughout your post, you should have to spell it out at least once the first time it's mentioned. What do you folks think? This would help unfamiliar folks navigate through threads and understand better. ;)

    twl845, that's a good suggestion and I hope that our long time Members keep it in mind, for the sake of those who just joined Wilders!
