What are these log files and errors?

i recently came across two lof files on my computer that are the following>

1.(Wmiprov)

2.(Wmiadap)

They are both located in the C:\WINDOWS|System32\Wbem\logs

In the Wmiadap it contains alot of errors such as the following:

I would really like any help with what these logs are showing and what the errors/events refer to as im quite confused and a bit worried about this.

By the way, someone suggested it could be the The SQL Server System Configuration Checker, but im not using a SQL Server?

Thank for your reply but it still dosnt help me, i came across these logs today, seems to have been happening for a while. Its not an infection i dont think, could it be due to my security setup?

What does the remote access and Impersonation failed - Access denied mean - is this hacker activity or some thing else?
