http://www.dennistechnologylabs.com/ - they do testing on spec from the AV companies (usually Symantec or Trend Micro)

    http://www.anti-malware-test.com/tests - I don't know them

    https://www.icsalabs.com/technology-...esting-reports - not worth much

http://www.westcoastlabs.org/ - total garbage - pay to play

http://www.amtso.org/ - they don't test, they set criteria for testing labs

avtest - also sponsored by the vendors but not terrible

The only one that doesn't accept vendor $ (as far as I know) is avcomparatives

We really need better independent tests. Testing detection properly (testing all the security compenents with real world testing and significantly acceptable # of valid samples/sites/scenarios) is hard and expensive. Only the biggest av companies can pay for it - and they craft the tests to suite their interests.

The quick and dirty tests often touted here or in the press (static scan some random hard disk full of samples) are useless.

Incorrect. Vendors pay for the testing.

nine9s question was for quantity, not for quality.
"Are there others antivirus-protection testing labs that share their testing results with the public?"

    I agree.
